TUPAD Beneficiaries in San Juan Received Their Pay – The Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) through its PAPAMAMARISAN Field Office (PFO) facilitated the TUPAD payout amounting to P5,370 each for 1000 beneficiaries in San Juan City during a ceremonial activity at Central Colleges of the Philippines on February 9, 2022.

DOLE Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III led the awarding ceremony together with DOLE-BWSC Director, Atty. Karen P. Trayvilla; DOLE-NCR Regional Director, Atty. Sarah Buena S. Mirasol; and PFO OIC-Director Alicia L. Del Mundo.


During the ceremony, Secretary Bello awarded a Bigasan Livelihood Package worth P20,000 each for 9 senior citizens and free bicycle units to 22 beneficiaries—twelve for the LGBT community, four for persons with disabilities (PWDs), and six for the guest performers who rendered a special number during the ceremony.

The awarded bicycle units came with one (1) android cellphone unit with P5,000 worth of electronic load wallet and other equipment such as reflector vest, bike light, helmet, tumbler, and thermal bag, among others.

The TUPAD or the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced (TUPAD) Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days.
