  • For those already enrolled in 2nd year to 5th year in college:
    ✔️ Single
    ✔️ Not more than 30 years old
    ✔️ With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 80% in all subjects
  • Belong to the upper 20% of the graduating class with a GWA of at least 80% for incoming freshmen applicants.
  • In good physical and mental health.
  • Of good moral character.

How to apply for the EDSP?

The application process for the EDSP is relatively simple. Applicants can download the application form from the OWWA website through https://scholarship.owwa.gov.ph/ or visit the nearest OWWA regional office for assistance. The application period starts in November 20, 2023 and ends in January 15, 2024.


Here are the documents required for application:

  • Completed application form
  • Two recent 2 x 2 inch ID photos
  • Proof of OWWA membership of the sponsor (OFW)
  • Proof of relationship to the OWWA member/OFW
  • Secondary school record (Form 137)
  • Form 2A – Health certificate from authorized government physician
  • Form 2B – Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Form 2C – Certification that applicant obtained Gross Weighted Average (GWA) of 80% or higher and belongs to the upper 20% of the Third Year / High School Graduating Class
  • Form 2D – Parent’s Certification that the applicant has not taken post secondary or undergraduate/ college units and not a Recipient of any scholarship grant / has not taken the EDSP Qualifying Examination
  • Form 2E – Sworn Statement that applicant has no pending application for resident immigrant status from any country & does not have dual citizenship

INFO: The Scholarship is a region-based OWWA Program, that’s why you can call or visit the nearest OWWA Regional Welfare Office covered by the OFW’s permanent residence for the necessary documents, details, and deadline of submission.
